The operation processes magnetite that is generated as a by-product of the phosphate mining activities conducted by Foskor in the Phalaborwa region. Lime Distributors (Pty) Ltd, located in Vereeniging, Gauteng, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Idwala Industrial Holdings and serves as a key processing, packaging, and distribution hub for the Group’s lime products. The facility receives raw and burnt lime produced at Idwala’s Danielskuil Lime Operation in the Northern Cape and converts it into a range of specialised lime products that are supplied to customers across South Africa.
